Privacy Policy

1The short version

• No cookies, no ads, no tracking.
• We collect what we need to make and send your calendar, and we use it for nothing else.
• We never see your card. Stripe handles payment.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.

2What we collect when you order

• Your name, email and, if you give it, your phone number.
• Your shipping address, when we are sending your calendar.
• The calendar you built: the county, species, seasons, any title you chose, the sheet size, plain or laminated, how it reaches you, and whether you added the digital bundle.
• If you drop a pin on the map, the exact spot you chose. It is saved with your order. We use it to work out your county and hunting zones and to check your calendar against them, and for nothing else. If you would rather we did not have it, choose your county from the list instead of dropping a pin.

3What we collect when you ask for a custom order

Your name, email, phone number if you give it, the counties and species you are interested in, and what you describe in your request.

If we make a custom calendar for you, we send you a private link and a passcode to view it. We check the passcode, and keep nothing else from that page.

4What we do not collect

• No cookies.
• No analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind.
• No account and no password. There is nothing to sign up for.
• Your card details never reach us. They go straight to Stripe.

One thing stays briefly in your own browser. While you check out, the tab you are using keeps your order and contact details, so that if you back out of the payment page the form is still filled in when you return. It stays in that tab only, never reaches us from there, is cleared when your payment goes through, and is gone when you close the tab.

5How we use it

To make, send and support your order — to build your calendar, email you about it, send it or arrange collection, deliver your digital bundle, and handle a cancellation, a fault or a refund.

To keep the records the law requires for accounts and sales tax.

For nothing else. We do not use your information for marketing you did not ask for, and we do not sell, rent or trade it to anyone.

6Who handles it for us

We are a one-person business and use a few services to run the shop. Each receives only what it needs, and it reaches them electronically as part of placing and fulfilling your order.

• Stripe takes your payment and works out sales tax. It receives your name, email, address and payment details. Your card goes to Stripe, not to us.
• Netlify hosts this website and receives your order form, including a map pin if you dropped one.
• Google Workspace runs our email, so it carries the emails we exchange with you.
• A shipping carrier, such as UPS or USPS, receives your name and shipping address to deliver your calendar.

Loading this website also contacts a few services that supply parts of the page: Google Fonts for the typefaces, Cloudflare for the map software, and OpenStreetMap and Esri for the map images. They receive the ordinary information any website visit sends — your internet address and browser type — and none of your order details. Their own privacy policies apply to that.

When you drop a pin, the point is sent to our own lookup on Netlify, which returns the county and hunting zones for that spot.

We will share information if the law requires it. Otherwise, nobody else receives it.

7How it is kept safe

• This website is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS).
• Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us or this website.
• Order records are held in our Netlify account and on the owner's own computer, and access to them is limited to the owner.

No system is perfectly secure. If we learn that your information has been exposed, we will tell you.

8How long we keep it

As long as we need it to support your order, and for as long as accounts and tax rules require us to keep records of sales.

If you sent a custom request that did not become an order, ask and we will delete it.

9Your choices

• Ask what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
• Ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it. We will, except for what we have to keep for accounts and tax.

10Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
